Nigerian Senate has asked President Buhari to sack the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) led by Professor Kemebradikumo Pondei.
The Senate called for the sack on the basis of financial recklessness and also suggested that the agency should be sent back to the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation for proper supervision.
The senate which raised the recommendations of its “Ad hoc Committee on the investigation of the alleged financial recklessness in the NDDC” also instructed the present IMC to reimburse the N4.923billion it gave to staff and contractors in the breaking of procurement process and approvals.
