Nigerian Entertainment Lawyers Weigh in on P-square Breakup Saga

 

For three weeks, Nigerian iconic music band P-square has dominated social networks and news headlines with the breakup saga among bandmates Peter and Paul Okoye; and their now former artist-manager Jude Okoye. Last week, the band allegedly finally made up. This week, a panelists of experienced Nigerian entertainment lawyers join host Ms. Uduak, on the 74th episode of The Africa Music Law Show, to discuss how artists can avoid or better handle breakup situations like that of P-Square, how to select a lawyer for your entertainment needs, things to consider when working with family, how to handle entertainment crisis such as P-squareโ€™s, how Nigeriaโ€™s music industry makes its money, and other streams of income for artists.
