Barely a day after a special adviser to the President on Media and Publicity was publicly criticized for his comments about the power situation in Nigeria, Abike Dabiri has also come under considerable criticism.
She is the third government official in just over a week to show a veneer of disdain for the people she’s supposed to be serving. Abike Dabiri, a former member of the House of Representatives, is currently serving as the Senior Special Adviser to the President on Foreign Affairs.
Engaged in a back and forth with on Twitter on the state of the nation and how it discourages Nigerians in the diaspora from returning home, Abike Dabiri replied.

She has since insisted that her reply was taken out of context as she defended her reply in subseequent tweets
