The presidency has said that Nigeria is safer today, compared to 2015 when President Buhari took over.
In an interview with Channels TV, the Senior Special Assistant to the president on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu said that as far as terrorism and insurgency are concerned, Nigeria is a much safer place now than it use to be.
According to Shehu, new challenges have come up and much have been subdued and most of the problem has been managed and today, South-West Nigeria is, perhaps, the safest part of the country.
