The Nigerian Content Development & Monitoring Board has donated the sum of Seventy Million Naira to the Presidential Task Force in the fight against Coronavirus.
The letter communicating the donation was given to the Chairman of the President Task Force and the Secretary-General of the Federation by the Executive Secretary of the Board.
The Executive Secretary of the Board informed the Presidential Task Force of the Board’s efforts to join in the fight against the pandemic. He also mentioned the past efforts of the Board in its donation of ambulances and lots of medical supplies to Bayelsa, Delta and Rivers States Government.
The Secretary-General of the Federation appreciated the kind gesture of the Nigerian Content Development & Monitoring Board and assured the Board that the funds would be used judiciously in the fight against Covid-19. He also encouraged Nigerians to cooperate with the government by obeying all NCDC guidelines. He also stated that the pandemic should not stop the production of local content that can ease the unemployment rate in the country.
