The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has approved the operation of a radio station by Christ Miracle Church Mission, located in Ojodu Berger, Lagos.
The station, operating on the 90.7FM frequency, has been deemed ready to begin transmission.
This was disclosed during an assessment visit by NBC officials led by the Zonal Director, Raphael Akpan.
The visit, conducted to evaluate the readiness of the facility, included inspections of the studio, transmitter, inverter, mast, generator, and other key areas.
Speaking to journalists after the tour, Akpan expressed satisfaction with the setup and commended the church’s leadership for the initiative.
He highlighted the importance of adhering to broadcasting standards.
“From our assessment, we can confidently say that the CMCM Champion Broadcasting Network 90.7FM is prepared for transmission,” Akpan stated.
“It’s our hope that this radio station achieves great success.”
He also advised the station’s management to familiarize themselves with the National Broadcasting Code, emphasizing its guidelines on programming, commercials, and technical operations.
The founder of the church, Prophet Peter Adebisi, expressed gratitude to NBC for granting the broadcast license, describing it as a milestone for the church.
