Natasha Osawaru, wife of Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has revealed that they are facing a marital crisis.

She disclosed their reported clash at the opening of 90s Lounge in Abuja on Friday.

Speaking exclusively with Pulse Nigeria, Natasha said she and the singer are fine despite the problems in their marriage.

She said, “My husband and I are fine, just that we are having a marital crisis.”

What happened at the Abuja club

Natasha’s comment came after an eyewitness spoke to Pulse Nigeria about the incident.

The eyewitness, who is also a close associate of 2Baba, alleged that Natasha arrived at the venue with her brothers and some thugs.

The eyewitness claimed that she tried to gain access to 2Baba by force.

Natasha has now shared her side of the incident. She also dismissed claims that she and 2Baba have separated.

2Baba and Natasha’s marriage

2Baba and Natasha’s relationship became public in early 2025. This happened shortly after the singer announced the end of his marriage to actress Annie Idibia.

The singer later publicly declared his love for Natasha. He also expressed his intention to marry her.

The couple eventually had a private traditional wedding in July 2025.

Their relationship has since attracted public attention. There have been allegations about Natasha’s influence over 2Baba’s professional activities.

The couple have also had previous public disagreements.

Previous marital crisis

In October 2025, reports emerged of an altercation between the couple in the United Kingdom. They had travelled there for 2Baba’s tour.

Their marital crisis became a major topic again in December 2025. This followed an Instagram Live hosted by broadcaster Daddy Freeze.

Two of 2Baba’s former associates made allegations about his marriage to Natasha during the livestream. They also claimed that she controlled some aspects of his life.

2Baba later joined the livestream to defend Natasha and respond to the allegations.

However, a heated argument between the couple was heard off-camera during the broadcast.
