Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has revealed that she will never discuss her earnings with a man, insisting that finances remain a private matter in her relationships.

Speaking on the ‘Thanks For Coming’ podcast, the ‘Blood Sisters’ star said money is one topic she avoids completely with her partner and expects the same level of privacy in return.

“I never discuss three things: my money, my money, my money. Tell a man how much I earn, never, for what,” she said.

The actress added that she does not want her partner to disclose his earnings to her either.

“And I don’t want him to discuss his with me either. I don’t want to know how much he is earning.”

Isime also shared her views on privacy in relationships, particularly regarding access to mobile phones. While she has no issue with her partner checking her phone, she said she would never request to see his.

“I have no problem with him going through my phone, but for what?” she said.

“I would never ask to check my man’s phone.”

The 34-year-old actress has previously spoken about her unconventional views on marriage. In 2024, she disclosed that she never fantasised about getting married while growing up, saying her focus was always on achieving financial independence.

“You know, when young girls used to sit down and daydream about getting married, I never did. I used to daydream about working and making my own money and being independent,” she said.

Although she has downplayed the idea of a “dream wedding,” Isime said earlier this year that she is of marriageable age and hopes to find a kind partner.
