Monthly Sanitation Exercise Suspended Indefinitely In Oyo State
The State Government has placed an indefinite suspension on the monthly sanitation exercise observed in the state.
This update was given by Idowu Oyeleke, the Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources of the state during the institution of daily cleaning routine by the ministry in Ibadan on Wednesday, 10th March.
The state commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources advised resident to keep up with the daily cleaning routine particularly drainage channels. Oyeleke went further to add that the environmental taskforce will be around to make sure the environmental laws of the state is observed.
“The state government has indefinitely suspended the monthly exercise and restriction of vehicular and human movement during the period.
“However, the environmental taskforce will be going around to ensure compliance and adherence to all environmental laws and regulations of the state.”
