The fraud case involving record label owner, Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu better known as Eezee T doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon as more eyewitnesses continue to emerge and share more information about the allegations.

OSG recalls publishing an exclusive about the fraud case involving gospel singer Judikay and Eezee T. In the report, OSG published some documents which affirmed how Eezee T skimmed funds off Judikay in almost the same manner he did with Mercy Chinwo.

Recall that the entire case started when a publication made by Vanguard Newspaper about Mercy Chinwo dragging Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu to court went viral.

After that report went viral, Eezee T released a statement on his social media handle to slam Mercy Chinwo’s claims. In his rejoinder, he claimed to have given Mercy Chinwo over $624k during the period she was signed under his label.

Eezee T also claimed that their deal was a 50/50% contract and at no point did he steal from the singer’s royalties.

However, after Eezee T released his statement things took a drastic turn as popular Nigerian clergyman, Apostle Anselm Madubuko released a statement shedding more light on the fraud case.

Apostle Anselm started his statement with a strong comment, saying, “Eezee Tee Lied”. He revealed that the case between Mercy Chinwo and Eezee T had been on since 2022.

He further shared how he tried to resolve things and bring in external auditors to audit the accounts of Eezee T’s record label. Still, all efforts to find an amicable solution were frustrated by Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu.

The clergyman also shared how Judikay instituted an embezzlement case against Eezee T in 2024. She accused her former boss of running a scam over her throughout her time with his label from 2019-2024.

EZEKIEL THANKGOD (EZEETEE) LIED!!

As children of God, anything we are doing we must act with humility and the fear of God. I came into the issue between Ezekiel Thankgod and Mercy Chinwo as far back as 2022. Both Mercy and Ezekiel were both invited to my house for a reconciliation meeting with Chioma Jesus in attendance after I learnt that they were having issues whilst she was still within her contract period.

After long hours of meeting, it was ascertained that the issue they were having had to do with some findings Mercy had made that Ezekiel was diverting funds that should be coming to her. To ensure that the issue was resolved peacefully, I proposed that an independent Auditor be brought into the issue so that we can find out if there was any truth to Mercy’s claims. We all concluded that was the way forward, and the meeting was adjourned to be held in my office on the 17th of February 2023.

The meeting was held as scheduled with the Auditor from OLATUNJI FANIFOSI & CO in attendance alongside Ezekiel, Apeh Harrison, Temple Odoko (Ezekiel’s Pastor), Blessed and Mercy. It was agreed in that meeting that the Auditor be given all documents required to make the audit process seamless, however to my shock and utter amazement I later received a barrage of insults from Ezekiel, later that night accusing me of being a very biased elder.

All efforts to reach Ezekiel afterwards proved abortive, as he intentionally avoided my calls, and messages and proceeded to stop paying Mercy her royalties for 2 years.
