English multi-talented entertainer, Ricky Gervais will host for the fourth time tonight’s Golden Globe Awards.
The funnyman returns after a much-lauded three-year stint by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
His last hosting stint was marred by controversy as some of his jokes rubbed people the wrong way.
Tonight, the audience should expect more drama, as Mel Gibson has also been announced as a guest host for the night, and we all know how awkward it got after Ricky made several naughty quips about the Braveheart actor during the previous three Golden Globes ceremonies….
In fact, Gervais is already playing up to his prankster reputation, judging from his latest Tweet. ‘Because I can see the future, I’d like to [apologize] now for the things I said at next week’s Golden Globes,’ the comedian wrote on Twitter. ‘I was drunk & didn’t give a f**k’. LOL.
Other famous hosts who will be presenting awards on the night include Channing Tatum, Amber Heard, Eddie Redmaybe, Jamie Foxx, Olivia Wilde, Particia Arquette, Amy Adams and Julianne Moore.
