Madagascar, the country which is thought to be the saviour of the African continent from the novel coronavirus has recorded its first death case today, 17th May 2020.
It has been two month since the coronavirus pandemic broke out on the Island with zero deaths recorded due to the production of the covid herbal tonic which the president believes to be the cure for the virus.
According to online media report, the country has recorded it first death case with confirmed cases standing at 304. The country has been in the news for weeks, following it president decision to quit the WHO after the organisation spoke against it herbal drug.
The president, Andry Rajoelina has challenged fellow African country to rally behind him to quit the WHO and focus on producing it own vaccine to rid themselves of the dreadful virus.
