The Lagos International Poetry Festival kicks off officially on the 27th of October with an opening cocktail at Freedom Park and an exciting array of events following. But if there’s any event that has Lagosians roaring to attend, it’s the concerts: Womanifesto and Paging the Future.
The Titilope Sonuga produced Womanifesto is scheduled for the 28th of October at the Agip Recital Hall of the Muson Center. It features eight incredible female poets and spoken word artists from the US, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa and Nigeria.
Paging the Future also features an exciting array of international poets and musicians on the 29th of October, also at the Agip Recital Hall of the Muson Centre.
Tickets for both events are going for N3,000 each and can be gotten at Jazz Hole, Awolowo road Ikoyi and at www.afritickets.com and www.naijaticketshop.com. To have the tickets delivered to you call 08032815933, 08039164732.
