The Lagos State Assembly has summoned the Governor of Lagos, Akinwunmi Ambode to appear before it with regards to misappropriation of funds.
The Assembly asked him to come before it within one week to answer questions regarding the 2019 budget.
This comes in wake of moves to impeach the Governor.
The Lawmakers, during its plenary on Monday accused the Governor of committing atrocities bordering on gross misconduct and spending budget yet to be presented to the House for approval.
During the plenary, 28 of the 34 lawmakers called for the Governor to be impeached while the remaining asked him to resign.
Speaker of the house, Mudashiru Obasa said the house would give the governor the last chance to appear before the house to explain the allegations levelled against him.
