A group of NCDC officials came into Kogi State for the purpose of ascertaining that Kogi is indeed free from the Corona virus.

However, the Kogi State Governor, Governor Yahaya Bello has ordered this group of NCDC officials to be isolated at the state’s isolation centre for 14 days before they start their mission.

The Governor said that since it is included in the NCDC’s guidelines and WHO Regulations to go into a period of 14-period isolation after a journey has been made, the NCDC should obey its own rules.
