The Season Begins
Big Brother Naija Season 11 delivered ten weeks of drama, surprises, friendships, confrontations and twists that kept viewers engaged throughout. The Show Ya Sef season opened with 24 housemates competing for a ₦160 million prize package and the coveted championship.
The Gambit Twist
Early weeks introduced the Gambit twist, with Aikou and Flora gaining guaranteed places until finale while temporarily sacrificing prize eligibility. That advantage changed during Week Six, when Operation Release the Gambit allowed viewers to decide whether both Gambits could compete.
Major Evictions and Drama
Week Five brought another major shock as Sultex and Goddessa became the sixth and seventh housemates evicted from competition overall. During that same week, Sheba became the first female Head of House before later winning the Most Influential Player title.
Nomy later became the season’s first disqualified housemate after repeated rule violations, adding another unexpected chapter inside the competition season. Meanwhile, Barry produced a strategic moment after winning the Week Eight Head of House challenge and securing Ultimate Veto Power.
His decision eventually helped protect the remaining housemates, while changing nominations and creating fresh uncertainty around the final stretch there.
Fake Evictions and Unforgettable Moments
Another unforgettable moment arrived when Biggie fake evicted Ricky, Tram and Temi Nkem during a tense and unexpected live show. The trio eventually returned, while Barry’s immunity choice secured finale places for the remaining ten housemates officially at that stage.
Beyond strategy, Temi Nkem’s memorable custard episode, BB Bucks controversy and kiss with Tram generated widespread conversations among viewers online. Sheba also became a standout figure through her leadership, emotional moments and strong presence during the house’s most difficult periods.
The Race Towards the Finale
Later, Yusuf, Bells and Chimsom Chuka were evicted during a triple eviction, pushing the competition firmly toward its final phase. As the finale approached, friendships, rivalries and unresolved Gambit questions remained major talking points among the remaining housemates and viewers.
After ten weeks, Temi Nkem defeated Aikou and Sheba, securing 25.87% of votes to become the season’s fifth female winner. Aikou finished first runner-up with 23.68%, while Sheba placed second runner-up after receiving 9.80% of the final votes overall there.
Ultimately, Big Brother Naija Season 11 ended with Temi Nkem claiming ₦90 million cash and a brand-new SUV as champion.
