The Kaduna-Abuja train service has resumed operations today, Wednesday 29th July, 2020 after a long-term closure of the rail operations due to the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Railway workers at the train station confirmed that the premises have been de-contaminated and the number of passengers per couch has been cut down by half in line with the guidelines regulating social distancing.
Passengers have also been mandated to use their face masks at all times and they are also required to wash their hands at the entry points. Their body temperatures were also screened at the entry point before given access to the ticket point.
