Contentious Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, has talked candidly about his encounter with Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, who is an alleged transgender person.
In an open discussion on the most recent Echoroom podcast, Portable disclosed that he had given Bobrisky advise on his lifestyle decisions.
The singer, who calls Bobrisky a friend, asked why the transgender person would chose to portray themselves as a woman even if he was born a guy.
“I am God-sent and an angel of God. I told Bobrisky to stop what he is doing. I told him, ‘If you want to be a woman, be a woman. If you want to be a man, be a man,’” he said during the interview.

The musician also discussed his thoughts on the money that other celebrities gave Bobrisky after he was released from jail.
Portable claimed that, in contrast to other celebrities, he did not donate any money to Bobrisky’s campaign, citing his Christian convictions as the reason for this.
It’s important to note that Bobrisky thanked a number of celebrities, including Funke Akindele, Don Jazzy, Tonto Dikeh, and others, for their financial help in an appreciation post upon his release from custody.
One noteworthy disclosure from the podcast was Portable’s admittance that he had initially confused Bobrisky for a woman due to adultery, which is how he found his social network page.
