‘I almost went to prison, ’ Stanley Ontop reacts to Regina Daniels’ reported return to Ned Nwoko’s residence

Nollywood actor Ajemba Stanley, popularly known as Stanley Ontop, has revealed that he almost went to prison while supporting Regina Daniels during her marital crisis with Senator Ned Nwoko.

Stanley spoke out after Regina was seen at Ned’s residence in a viral livestream. The development reportedly left the actor angry and disappointed.

Stanley Ontop reacts to Regina’s return

Stanley had been a strong supporter of Regina during her public dispute with Ned. He said he was upset that he was not informed about her reported return to the senator’s home.

The actor also addressed questions from followers about whether Regina had gone back to Ned.

“I almost went to prison because of this case. They were looking for me to arrest me. I know that you guys have been waiting for my video, asking me if it’s true that Regina Daniels has gone back to Ned Nwoko, and asking if I am aware.”

Stanley said he also brought activists into the matter during the dispute. According to him, they were now angry because he had assured them that Regina would not return to Ned’s house.

“Here is my story because I am very angry, and all the activists I brought into this matter are angry with me because I gave her my word that she is not going back to that house. Now, all of them are calling me, telling me that I should see what I brought them into. I almost went to prison because of this case. I was the one who posted the first video where they were harassing Regina in Ned’s house.”

Actor questions Regina’s decision

Stanley also questioned the explanation that Regina only visited the house to see her children.

He said Regina appeared relaxed in the viral video. The actor added that he felt hurt because he was not told about her visit.

“Let us say you didn’t go there to stay but to see your children, and you were that relaxed? I am concerned about your children and want you to see your kids, but you went there without telling any of us. I’m very close to this family, and they didn’t tell me. Now I look like a fool. I am annoyed. I couldn’t sleep last night; in fact, I cried.”

Stanley recalls his support for Regina

The actor also recalled how deeply he became involved in the marital dispute. He said he supported Regina even when members of her family faced trouble.

“Do you know what I did? Now they are dragging you, and they are dragging me. I was here for you even when they discreetly took Sammy to prison; I was the one who knew. This is the last time I will render my help to any husband-and-wife case. I am now the bad person.”

Regina and Ned married in 2019 and have two sons, Munir and Khalifa. Their marriage came under renewed public attention in 2025 after both parties made allegations and denials. The dispute later extended to legal proceedings over the custody and access of their children.
