There is something called post-lockdown anxiety, which comes from the fear of being infected by the virus after lockdown. The post-lockdown anxiety messes with your mental health and causes you to overthink, which might also lead to mental stress.
One thing that will really help during post-lockdown is being gentle on yourself. Sometimes, you might forget to wash your hands or use your hand sanitizer. You might even be so overwhelmed with emotions that you quickly give your colleague at work a hug; but for those times you forget to observe the safety measures, don’t beat yourself up for it.
It is also advisable that you talk to a trusted friend or counsellor about your anxieties and fears, so as not to result into a bigger mental crisis. Also, try as much as possible to gradually let yourself accept the new normal and not jump right into it to avoid the emotional and mental stress that might come with it
