English midfielder Harvey Elliott sparked a bit of buzz online with his recent post, where he was spotted celebrating Liverpool’s EPL triumph.
In the caption of the post shared on his social media handle, he tagged himself the โMinister of Enjoymentโ, a catchy phrase coined by Nigerian singer, Shallipopiโs and made popular through his hit track, Laho.
The post quickly caught the attention of Shallipopi himself, who went on to repost it. Shallipopi is not the first Afrobeats artist to gain massive support and traction from International footballers, especially Premier League players.

Harvey Elliot recently made history along with his Liverpool teammates like Mo Salah as part of the squad to win their first EPL title in 30 years and their second within four seasons.
Shallipopi reacts to Harvey Elliot’s post
Shallipopi’s new song Laho has been one of the biggest Afrobeats tracks of the year. It has gone triple platinum in South Africa and Gold in the UK.
He recently released a remix of the Laho track, which featured Grammy Award winner Burna Boy. In April 2025, the Laho saga reached new heights.
The collaboration came to life on a grand scale during Burna Boyโs sold-out show at the Stade de France, where Shallipopi made a surprise appearance on stage.
Blending Shallipopiโs street-hop energy with Burna Boyโs signature Afrofusion sound, the remix preserved the originalโs vibe while elevating it into a global anthem.
However, the remix has not garnered as much acclaim as the original track did. Many have criticised Burna Boy’s verse, noting that it took something out of the original song.

OSG recalls reporting when Burna Boy revealed that the remix of Laho, which he featured on, was the original track. But due to some delays, Shallipopi decided to release the solo track without his verse on it.
