Nigerian music star, Tiwa Savage has shared that she believes the delay in her career breakthrough was part of a divine plan.
Speaking on a recent episode of The Receipts podcast, the 44-year-old singer reflected on her journey, emphasizing that her success came later in life for a meaningful reason.

“I feel like God did this on purpose,” she said. “God delayed my success for a reason. I used to wonder why I wasn’t successful in my twenties.
My breakthrough came in my thirties.”She explained that her story serves as encouragement for women who may feel uncertain about their future.
“It’s to bless others,” Tiwa added. “It’s for that 25-year-old girl who’s scared about what lies ahead. If she looks at my journey and sees I started succeeding in my thirties, she’ll know, ‘I still have time.’”
