Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke has crowned his colleague, Zubby Michael, as the “biggest Nollywood star.”

Sharing his admiration on his Instagram story, Okeke expressed confidence in Michael’s talent and impact. He wrote:”

Zubby Michael is the biggest Nollywood star. But like Elizabeth, I know what Mary is carrying. God’s expression resounds in different decibels. It takes only humility to submit in praise, to God. Keep riding my broda. I see you.”

This public endorsement comes months after Zubby Michael and fellow actor Timini Egbuson had a spirited debate over who holds the title of Africa’s biggest actor.

The exchange took place during the first episode of the Prime Video reality show, ‘Ebuka Turns Up Africa.’

Egbuson argued that his success stems from high-quality movies, box office records, and recognition from industry experts.

Zubby, however, countered that his wealth and widespread success make him unmatched.
