The former Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Patrick Akpobolokemi, and five others are facing charges of fraud brought against rhem by the EFCC.
Akpobolokemi was arraigned alongside Nwakuche, Governor Amechee Juan, Vincent Udoye, Captain Adegboyega Sahib Olopoenia and a company, Gama Marine Nigeria Limited.
The EFCC alleges that the six men were involved in fraud to the tune of N754,740,680.
A High Court sitting in Lagos, presided over by Justice Raliat Adebiyi granted bail to five persons in the sum of N20 million each with two sureties in like sum.
The sixth defendant was granted bail to the tune of N2 million with two sureties in like sum.
