None of the 157 people on board an Ethiopian Airlines flight that crashed on Sunday morning after taking off from Addis Ababa on its way to Nairobi have survived, the airline said.
In a Twitter post, Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO Tewolde GebreMariam said the airline “deeply regrets the fatal accident,”

The group CEO, according to the statement had travelled to the scene of the crash.
He also expressed his sympathy to the families of those on board.
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s office tweeted it “would like to express its deepest condolences to the families of those that have lost their loved ones on Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 on regular scheduled flight to Nairobi, Kenya this morning.”
