Davido said, “Bad Bunny just did a tour. All the shows were in one place, Puerto Rico. People were flying in from LA, Atlanta and all over. I’m about to announce my residency too, in Lagos, December. Doing the same thing Bad Bunny did.”
The award-winning singer believes the residency will encourage international fans to travel directly to Lagos for unforgettable live Afrobeats performances and experiences. His strategy mirrors Bad Bunny’s successful Puerto Rico concerts, which attracted thousands of visitors from different countries and boosted cultural tourism.
