Cynthia Erivo says she will attend another Ariana Grande ‘Eternal Sunshine Tour’ show after joining her friend onstage recently. The actress praised Grande following her surprise appearance during the London concert, describing the performance as deeply emotional.
“Her heart and soul is on that stage, and it was a pleasure to be in the room,” Erivo wrote. She added, “I’ll be back,” confirming that another concert appearance remains on her plans following their memorable reunion.
Erivo also shared a heartfelt message directly addressing Grande, whom she described as her “sweet sister” and favorite singing partner. The actress thanked Grande for inviting her to share the stage and perform two songs representing their lives.
According to Erivo, the experience reminded both women why they continue creating music and entertainment for audiences worldwide. “This is what we do it for, for the love of the work and for all of the fans,” Erivo wrote.
She admitted that she missed performing alongside Grande and suggested their emotional reunion carried special meaning for both actresses. “I will never forget this night,” Erivo said, describing the experience as “a handprint on my heart.”
The Ariana Grande ‘Eternal Sunshine Tour’ reunion also thrilled fans who have followed the actresses’ friendship since their ‘Wicked’ collaboration. Erivo portrays Elphaba, while Grande plays Glinda in the film adaptation of the celebrated Broadway musical ‘Wicked’.
