The Federal Government has reviewed the nationwide curfew earlier imposed to curb the spread of Coronavirus in the country. Curfew hours now run from 12am to 4am, as disclosed by Dr. Sani Aliyu, National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force during the Presidential Task Force briefing today.
“I will first of all start with general movement. We are modifying the curfew to commence from 12 midnight to 4 am nationwide, effective tonight. This does not apply to people on essential services and international travellers that might be returning from abroad,” Dr. Sani Aliyu said.
President Muhammadu Buhari had earlier imposed a curfew in May within the hours of 8pm to 6am as a bid to curb the spread of Coronavirus. The curfew was later reviewed and set within the hours of 10pm to 4am.
