Covid 19-Lagos Government Set To Maintain Shift System In Primary And Secondary Schools

Lagos State Government is set to maintain the shift system in all government-owned primary and secondary schools in the State.

Information according to the Ministry of Education has stated that the move is to help reduce the crowding of students in the classroom.

The Shift system makes room for student to go to school in batches within the week.

The system however, makes provision for SS1 and JSS 3 students to go to school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday while SSS2 and JSS 2 student goes on Tuesdays and Thurdays

The shift system involves students in SS1 and JS3 classes going to school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, while those in SSS 2 and JSS 2 go on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

This will help to combat the spread of Covid 19
