The Africa Centre for Disease Control and Prevention has announced today, 6th September that the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases has risen to 1,291,724 in Africa.

The Africa Centre for Disease Control and Prevention also mentioned that the death toll from the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has climbed to 31,056 in Africa. The agency also mentioend that a number of 1,031,453 Covid-19 recoveries have been recorded in Africa.
