Lagos State Police Commissioner Hakeem Odumosu ordered the immediate release of 35 people arrested today in connection with #OccupyLekkiProtest, TVC News reported.

The television network said the suspects are being held at the J Elemoro Area Police Command, Ibeju Lekki.

It will be recalled that earlier today the police locked up Nigerian comedian Mr Macaroni’s and many other protesters in a Black Maria van.
