The Chinese Centre for Disease Control and Prevention has announced through its CDC Chief Biosafety Expert, Guizhen Wu, that the Covid-19 vaccine being developed in China might be ready for public use in November.
Reuters has confirmed that China currently has four Covid-19 vaccines in the final stage of clinical trials, with three already offered to essential workers under an emergency use programme launched in July.
The CDC Chief Biosafety Expert has attested to the efficacy of the vaccine, stating that she has not experienced any abnormal symptom in recent months after taking an experimental vaccine herself in April.
