The lingering fuel scarcity in Nigeria has reached new heights as fuel queues have become a key feature of the Lagos metropolis.
Dreading the long hours spent at fuel queues as well as exorbitant black market prices, quite a few Nigerians have resorted to stocking up on fuel whenever the opportunity presents itself. The downside to this is the obvious danger of storage of such a flammable product.
A bus laden with gallons of fuel burst into flames in the Ojota area of Lagos today in yet another incident that shows the growing safety concerns of the fuel crisis.
Fortunately, the driver reportedly escaped from the bus unscathed and there were no reported casualties.
