Blaqbonez Sues Odumodublvck for ₦2 Billion Over Defamation, Harassment and Threat Allegations

Blaqbonez has taken his long-running dispute with fellow rapper Odumodublvck to court, filing a lawsuit seeking ₦2 billion in damages over allegations of defamation, threat to life, harassment and assault.

The legal action follows a series of public accusations made by Odumodublvck, who recently alleged that Blaqbonez was involved in sexual abuse and claimed there had been efforts within the Nigerian music industry to shield him from scrutiny. Blaqbonez has denied the allegations and is now asking the court to determine the matter through legal proceedings.

The lawsuit marks the latest chapter in a feud that has played out across social media and in music. Both artists have exchanged subliminal and direct jabs over the past year, with diss tracks, online posts and interviews fueling growing tensions between two of Nigeria’s most prominent hip-hop voices.

The dispute has also reignited conversations about Odumodublvck’s strained relationship with Chocolate City, the record label that represents Blaqbonez.

Although Odumodublvck has collaborated with several artists associated with the label in the past, he has repeatedly criticized Chocolate City publicly, accusing the company of attempting to influence the Nigerian rap scene and questioning its role within the industry.

Those remarks have contributed to an increasingly public rivalry between the rapper and members of the label’s roster. Neither Blaqbonez nor Chocolate City has publicly accepted Odumodublvck’s allegations, and the court filing represents the first formal legal response to the controversy.

As the case proceeds, fans and industry observers will be watching closely to see how one of Nigeria’s biggest rap feuds unfolds in court. The outcome could have significant implications for both artists and may set an important precedent regarding defamation and public accusations within the country’s entertainment industry.
