#BETAWARDS2016 Meet the Nominees (1) – Yemi Alade

Yemi Alade has been looking for ‘Johnny’ for many years now and we sincerely hope she finally finds him at the 2016 BET AWARDS holding at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on June 26.

You will agree with me that it has been a very long journey for the energetic songstress whose uniqueness and versatility has seen her walk up the ranks to be one of Nigeria’s most sort after female artistes. She has indeed worked very hard and improved over time, carving a niche for herself in a star studded industry like ours.

Yemi Alade goes into the Microsoft Theater on the 26th with a big chance of clinching the award as she has proved to the world time and again that she has what it takes to represent Nigeria and indeed Africa at the highest level.

Apart from being one of the brightest stars at the Coke Music Studio Show organized by Super Brand Coca-Cola, where she held her own and displayed the finest form of versatility, creativity and originality; her songs ‘Ferrari’ and ‘Na go de’ gained her wide recognition as they became fans favourites all over the world, especially in West Africa.

A popular On Air Personality with one of the leading FM Stations in the country said, after playing three of her songs back to back on a ‘call-in’ request program “Yemi Alade has no doubt proved that her initial song ‘Johnny’ wasn’t a mistake hit and she can operate on the highest level.”

We at olorisupergal wish her all the best.
