Keivo has emerged as the head of house (HoH) for week nine of BBNaija ‘Show Ya Sef’, while Barry’s veto power has secured finale spots for the remaining 10 housemates.
The development came after Keivo won the HoH games on Monday evening.
After the games, Big Brother gathered the housemates in the lounge. He then asked Barry, the season’s “ultimate veto power holder” and first confirmed finalist, to pick a red envelope.
Inside the envelope, Barry had to choose between granting immunity to all the remaining housemates or to no one.
He chose to grant immunity to everyone.
The decision means Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Keivo, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram have all secured places in the finale.
The 10 housemates will now battle for the grand prize without facing another eviction before the finale.
It is the first time in BBNaija’s history that all the finalists have been decided at the start of week nine.
The winner of this year’s season will take home a record N160 million grand prize. It is the biggest prize in the reality show’s history since its debut in 2006.
BBNaija introduced 24 housemates on July 26. So far, 12 housemates have left the show through eviction.
Neche also took a voluntary exit, while Nomy left the competition after Big Brother disqualified him for disobeying Biggie.
The ‘Show Ya Sef’ season is expected to end on October 4.
