There’s serious wahala on the horizon as BBC Studios has revealed the cast for its upcoming six-part thriller Wahala, adapted from the bestselling novel by Nikki May.

Leading the female-driven ensemble is Genevieve Nnaji, alongside Adelayo Adedayo, Deborah Ayorinde, Cush Jumbo, and Susan Wokoma, a powerhouse lineup already drawing attention ahead of release.

Written for television by BAFTA-nominated screenwriter Theresa Ikoko and produced in partnership with Firebird Pictures, the series follows four Nigerian-British women in London whose close-knit friendship slowly starts to crack when buried secrets and rising tensions begin to surface.
