Bandits Kill Two More Greenfield University Students

Two more abducted Greenfield University students have been killed by bandits.

This latest development was confirmed by the stateโ€™s Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan on April 26.

According to him, the university has been informed of the development, however, he failed to disclose the identities of the killed students.

The statement released by the commissioner reads;

โ€œOn a sad note, security agencies have just reported to the Kaduna State Government the recovery of two more dead bodies of Greenfield University students, killed by armed bandits today, Monday 26th April 2021.

The retrieved corpses have been evacuated to a mortuary, and the university has been notified of the development.

The Government of Kaduna State under the leadership of Malam Nasir El-Rufai is saddened by this evil perpetrated against innocent students abducted while pursuing their education for a glorious future.

The Government sends its deep empathy to their families and the university management, and prays for the repose of their souls.

The Government will update the citizenry on further developments.โ€

This latest development comes after three students of the Greenfield University, Kaduna State were killed days ago.

Currently, the security situation in Nigeria is moved from bad to worst. Most Nigerians are now living in fear as several attacks have been happening. Kaduna is actually one state that these attacks has been rampant.

The federal government has, however, stated that it is really committed to ensuring that the country becomes peaceful.
