The talent manager took to his X account to reveal that he has purchased over 250GB of data within just 14 days, yet still finds himself constantly running out of data. Clearly tired and confused by the situation, he wondered how such a massive amount could vanish so fast despite what he considers normal usage.
His post quickly caught attention, with many Nigerians relating to the struggle almost immediately. Several people flooded the comment section sharing similar experiences, joking that data in Lagos now “finishes on its own” before users can even enjoy it properly.
Others blamed endless scrolling on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X, while some pointed fingers at automatic app updates, background downloads, and streaming platforms that quietly consume large amounts of data without users noticing.
