Manchester City forward, Sergio Aguero and Southampton Boss, Ronald Koeman have been named BPL player and coach respectively for the month of January.
Aguero’s return from injury and his imperious form in 2016 has seen Manchester City remain in contention in all four competitions.
Five goals in four games meant that Aguero edged out Firmimho and Dele Alli for the January award. Aguero’s Manchester City managed to remain unbeaten in all games in January with an Aguero wonder goal ensuring a 2-2 draw against West Ham.
Southampton Head Coach, Koeman picked up the January award after leading his team to three victories in four games.
Southampton will look back on January and remember Charlie Austin’s sumptuous header which snatched them a 1-0 at Old Trafford.
