Afrobeats superstar Davido has melted hearts after getting on one knee to propose to his wife, Chioma, with a stunning ring in the newly released music video for ‘Already Falling’.
The singer featured Chioma in the visuals for the love song, which appears on his sixth studio album, ORIADÉ. Released on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, the video captures intimate moments between the couple, placing their relationship at the centre of its romantic storyline.
In one scene, Davido and Chioma appear in matching traditional-inspired outfits as the singer serenades his wife with the song’s lyrics.
Another scene shows the couple inside a car, with Chioma behind the steering wheel while Davido focuses on his performance.
However, the video’s most romantic moment comes towards the end when the singer gets down on one knee beside a lake and presents Chioma with a ring.
The gesture recreates a marriage proposal, offering fans a romantic display of affection between the couple, who are already married.
The visuals also continue a tradition of Davido featuring his wife in songs that celebrate their relationship.
Chioma previously starred in ‘Assurance’, the singer’s 2018 hit released while they were dating. The song became one of his best-known romantic records, with its accompanying video showcasing their relationship.
She also appeared in the visuals for ‘1 Milli’, a 2020 track whose wedding-themed video further celebrated their love story.
Davido and Chioma married in a traditional ceremony in Lagos in June 2024. They followed it with a white wedding in Miami, Florida, in August of the same year.
Their relationship has remained a recurring feature of Davido’s music and public life, with the singer frequently celebrating their bond through his songs and public gestures.
