Veekee James brought glamour to Zlatan Ibile and Davita Omoniyi’s traditional wedding in a wine-red corset dress featuring crystal embellishments, sheer beaded sleeves and a metallic champagne gele.
The Nigerian fashion designer joined family, friends and entertainment industry personalities at the couple’s traditional wedding on Saturday, wearing a heavily embellished creation from her eponymous fashion label.
The floor-length dress featured a sculpted, sheer corset bodice decorated with vertical rows of wine-red crystals. Its sweetheart-inspired neckline extended into a high, embellished collar, while the long transparent sleeves carried rows of burgundy beads.
The fitted skirt followed a mermaid silhouette, with sweeping patterns of gold sequins, wine-red embroidery and dusty-rose detailing extending towards a subtle train.

The sheer, crystal-covered bodice was the standout feature of the ensemble, drawing attention to the intricate beadwork and structured silhouette. The rich wine-red shade also gave the outfit a bold finish, while the gold and champagne accents introduced contrast.
