Burna Boy to make India debut at Rolling Loud festival

Nigerian Afrofusion star Burna Boy will make his live performance debut in India at Rolling Loud 2026, where he will headline the festival alongside American record producer Metro Boomin.

The two-day hip-hop festival will be held on December 12 and 13 in Mumbai, India.

Burna Boy and Metro Boomin will lead the opening day performances. British rapper Skepta and Punjabi singer Karan Aujla will headline the second day.

The festival will mark Burna Boy’s first performance in India. The singer previously collaborated with the late Indian rapper Sidhu Moose Wala.

Other artistes scheduled to perform on the opening day include American rappers Big Sean and GoldLink, as well as Indian rapper Dhanda Nyoliwala.

American rapper ScHoolboy Q and Indian hip-hop duo Seedhe Maut will join the second-day lineup.

Rolling Loud ranks among the world’s largest hip-hop festivals. The event made its Indian debut in November 2025, drawing more than 65,000 fans to Loud Park in Navi Mumbai.

The first edition featured American rappers Wiz Khalifa and Swae Lee, British rapper Central Cee, and American singer Don Toliver.

Aujla also headlined the event, becoming the first Indian artiste to achieve the feat.

Burna Boy’s upcoming appearance will expand the festival’s international lineup. It will also bring the Nigerian star to a country where he has an existing musical connection through his collaboration with Moose Wala.

Organisers have yet to announce the venue for the 2026 edition. However, fans can purchase tickets through District, the festival’s ticketing partner.
