Portable, the controversial Nigerian singer, has asked President Bola Tinubu and his son, Seyi, to pay him more money for the stress he endured at the All Progressives Congress (APC) rally on Tuesday.
The Tinubu/Shettima rally took place at Onikan Stadium, with several celebrities and politicians in attendance. Viral videos showed Portable running around the stadium while campaigning and entertaining supporters.
In one video, the singer lay on the floor and appeared distressed. He insisted on seeing Tinubu and Seyi as his manager, Babylov, urged him to get up before they left the venue.
Reports also claimed that overcrowding at the rally caused Portable to faint.
Although the singer admitted that he had already received payment for the event, he demanded more money for the physical stress he experienced.
“I want to see Tinubu and Seyi Tinubu; they have almost squeezed me to death. I have fainted; it is Tinubu that is winning. Did we not collect money? Tinubu, pay me more money; I am feeling so much heat.”
Portable’s remarks came after he publicly discussed his plans to support politicians ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
In September 2025, the singer revealed that he would endorse the first politician to pay him for his support in the election.
