Regina Daniels, the Nollywood actress, has marked her 25th birthday in a wheelchair. She also revealed that she has spent several months struggling to walk freely.
In a video posted on Instagram on Saturday, Daniels celebrated what she called her silver jubilee. She asked God for “total calm” in this new phase of her life.

The actress addressed concerns about her appearance in a wheelchair. After fans asked about her absence from the public eye, she decided to speak out on her birthday.
“I know many of you may be surprised seeing me in a wheelchair,” she said. “Well, welcome to another chapter of my life.”
According to Daniels, the problem started as a minor issue but later worsened. For several months, she has struggled to move around as she pleases.
Things took a turn after the children’s day carnival, the last public gathering she hosted.
The actress described the pain as excruciating. On some days, she could walk well, while on others, she could not move at all. She also spoke of crying and turning to God for healing.
However, Daniels sounded hopeful as she shared news about her recovery. Significant developments, she said, had prompted her to speak out. She also thanked God for the progress.
She did not disclose her condition, what caused it or the treatment she is receiving.
Actress remains silent on reunion reports
Her birthday disclosure comes amid speculation about her estranged marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko.
In early September, a clip from a live session hosted by one of Nwoko’s sons showed Daniels in the background. The footage appeared to have been recorded at the senator’s residence.
At one point, she was heard telling the host to “cut it” before moving away from the camera.
The clip sparked reports that she had returned to her husband. Neither Daniels nor Nwoko confirmed the claims.
Her sister, Destiny Daniels, also offered an explanation that contradicted reports of an official return to the marriage.
