Nigerian singer Zlatan Ibile and his longtime partner, Davita Lamai, will tie the knot on October 24, 2026, after several years together.
The ‘Zanku’ crooner announced the date in an Instagram post on Thursday. He shared a video showing himself and Lamai holding each other in an intimate embrace.
Their first son, Shiloh, provides the voiceover. He praises the love his parents share and the love they have for their two children.
“When I think about love, I think about my mummy and daddy. They have shown me that family means laughing together, supporting each other and always feeling loved,” he said.
“My little brother and I are part of their love story, and I thank God for our family. Save the date for my mummy and daddy’s wedding. The 24th of October, 2026.”
Zlatan and Lamai have two sons, Shiloh and Benaiah. The couple have kept their relationship going for several years.
The singer rose to prominence with his debut studio album in 2019. He has since built a reputation in Nigeria’s street-pop scene.
His hit songs include ‘Zanku’, ‘Shotan’ and ‘Lagos Anthem’. His sound blends Afrobeats, hip-hop and indigenous rhythms.
Zlatan’s recent projects include ‘Symbol of Hope’, released in 2025.
