Shivon Zilis has spoken publicly about her breakup with Elon Musk, saying she loved him “more than life itself” during their relationship. Zilis, a technology executive and mother of four of Musk’s children, addressed the separation in an emotional post shared Friday on X.
She said ending the relationship happened suddenly, describing how difficult it was to move from being in love to letting go within one week. According to Zilis, she wanted Musk to experience stability, gentleness, understanding, and peaceful love despite pressures surrounding his demanding professional life.
She described their family home as a safe space where Musk could find happiness, affection, and calm away from work. Zilis wrote that she felt grateful for creating an environment where Musk could feel deeply understood, nurtured, supported, and peacefully loved.
Reflecting on their relationship, Zilis said she loved Musk more than life itself and valued everything they experienced together. She also expressed gratitude for their four children, describing them as beautiful parts of her life and sources of happiness.
Zilis said she remained hurt by the breakup but continued caring deeply about Musk and would keep cheering for his happiness. She also said she hoped they could remain friends and develop a strong co-parenting relationship while raising their four children together.
Her comments came after reports that Musk had unfollowed her on X, adding attention to their sudden relationship ending. Zilis also shared a screenshot of a recent text exchange where Musk appeared to tell her that he loved her.
