Google has launched Gmail Live, Docs Live, and Keep Live, bringing voice tools into everyday Workspace tasks. Gmail Live lets users ask questions about their inbox without typing searches or opening email threads.
Gemini can find specific details, answer follow-up questions, and provide answers through natural conversation. Docs Live turns spoken ideas into structured documents, helping users move from brainstorming to a first draft faster.
Users can discuss ideas, request formatting changes, and ask Gemini to include relevant information from Gmail, Drive, Chat, or the web. Keep Live focuses on quick thoughts, lists, and reminders. Users can speak freely, while Gemini organizes their words into organized notes and lists.
For example, someone can describe grocery needs aloud and ask Keep Live to create or update a shopping list. Users can also edit existing notes through voice instructions.
These features use Gemini audio capabilities to make Google Workspace more conversational and hands-free. Google says the tools are rolling out in English for eligible subscribers globally. Gmail Live supports Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers on Android and iOS.
Docs Live supports AI Pro and Ultra subscribers, while Keep Live currently focuses on Android access. Google plans these voice features for Workspace business customers soon.
The company first previewed the capabilities during Google I/O 2026 before beginning the wider rollout. Gmail Live, Docs Live, and Keep Live could change how people manage emails, documents, and notes. Instead of typing and searching, users can speak naturally and let Gemini handle the organization.
