Temitope Osoba died at police station, according to her fiancé, Prophet Itunu Onadeko, who has challenged reports surrounding her death. Onadeko claimed the late Nollywood actress died at a police station in Ikorodu, Lagos State, before widespread speculation emerged.
His allegation contradicts reports linking Osoba’s death to complications from breast cancer, which she previously battled before undergoing surgery. The prophet made the claim during an interview with Celestial Reality Check, the Media Investigative Unit of CCC, on Saturday.
Onadeko said an unidentified person called him around midnight and informed him that Osoba had died at a station.“It was a random person that called me around 12 am that she died in a police station in Ikorodu,” he said.
However, Onadeko admitted that he did not know the specific police station where the actress allegedly died at that time. He explained that he subsequently reported himself at a nearby police station after receiving the disturbing information about Osoba’s death.
The prophet also discussed Osoba’s final movements, saying she had insisted on visiting Mrs Kehinde Osoba shortly before her death. According to Onadeko, Mrs Kehinde Osoba also operates a church, and Temitope reportedly wanted to visit her before everything changed. He said the hairdresser where Temitope stayed accompanied her during the visit, while they continued communicating throughout the day.
Onadeko recalled that Osoba even posted “Ogo tun tun” before he later received news concerning her alleged death. The prophet stressed that he remained unaware of the exact station involved, despite receiving the information about her death there. “Although I don’t know the police station she died but I reported myself in a nearby one,” he said.
Meanwhile, allegations surrounding Temitope Osoba died at police station have introduced a fresh twist into the circumstances surrounding her death. Social media discussions previously linked her death to breast cancer and alleged depression following claims involving maltreatment from her fiancé’s family.
Onadeko rejected those allegations and denied claims that Osoba suffered poisoning or maltreatment before her death. He acknowledged that the actress previously battled cancer and underwent surgery, but insisted the illness did not cause her death. The circumstances surrounding Osoba’s final hours remain unclear, while her fiancé’s claims have generated renewed public interest and questions.
