Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo has responded to actress Lizzy Anjorin after the latter alleged that her mother, Iyabo Ojo, took her to music executive Soso Soberekon’s wedding in Warri without a formal invitation.

The dispute erupted over the weekend when Anjorin, who has a long-running feud with Iyabo Ojo, shared a video on Instagram criticising the mother and daughter’s presence at the event.

In the video, Anjorin alleged that Iyabo attended the wedding to receive financial gifts and questioned why Priscilla accompanied her mother.

“You travelled for a party just because you needed donations, just because you are broke and poor. That is why you travelled with your daughter to the party. How many of them went to that party with their children? How many of them?” she asked.

Reacting on Monday via her Instagram Stories, Priscilla dismissed the claims without directly mentioning Anjorin.

She stressed that she attended the event of her own accord, noting that she is an adult capable of making her own decisions.

“I’m not a child. I am a wife and a mom, and I’m capable of making my own decisions,” she wrote.

Priscilla also denied attending events without an invitation, stating: “I will never go where I am not invited.”

Addressing the ongoing tension with Anjorin, she suggested her silence had been deliberate for legal reasons.

“I have been quiet about this lady because she is clearly mentally ill and I am building my case. That’s all I’ll say.”
